home,
late summer evening.
the light was different this morning, and it actually felt like autumn.
how can it have come round so quickly again?

241::366

being off work is so amazing.
today we visited not one, but TWO national trust properties.
i took enough photos to see me through the rest of the year!!
but i promise not to cheat.

240::366

we went out for the day with friends,
and were busy having so much fun
that i hardly took any photos.
so you will have to make do with yet another picture of my ever-expanding crochet project.
nearly there, now.

230::366

the gas men have had to dig a large trench right through our veg patch,
so the day ended with a hasty harvest of the remaining potatoes.

229::366

self-portrait,
thursday.

228::366

i wondered if maybe i post a disproportionate number of pictures
of the sky;
but then when i thought about it,
i realised that actually,
i really do spend this much time looking at the sky.

and besides,
if constable could do it,
why can't i?

232::366
